After the Lilac Festival, the next festival I look forward to is the Rochester Greek Festival... primarily for the food. This year I got the traditional gyro plate but also tried Ouzon soda. I was curious because it is anise flavored (licorice). The anise is very light and the soda is refreshing. Plus it's made here in Rochester!
This year they also had dessert, which I don't remember from last year. We went straight for the baklava ice cream. Basically it was vanilla ice cream with honey coated baklava mixed in. So good! Aaron is enjoying his on the coast of Greece as you can clearly witness.
