For Easter, I created a hybrid of pickled eggs and deviled eggs. The pickled deviled egg.
I love pickled eggs and I love deviled eggs. When I was trying to decide which to make for Easter, I thought... why not both?!
Basically, I made a batch of pickled beet eggs and then cut them up to make deviled eggs. Plus Aaron made bacon dust to sprinkle on top.
They were pretty darn good. But next time I will cut the eggs and remove the yolks before pickling or not pickle them as long. The yolks started to pickle and I really want the deviled part to be traditional.
