I can hardly believe it's time for the Park Ave Fest already. It's always fun but it tends to makes me feel like summer is winding down. This year we had the coolest weather I have ever experienced during the Park Ave Fest.
I was at the Verona Street Animal Society/Rochester Animal Services booth for a bit on Sunday. It's a great way to let people know about the adoptable cats and dogs here in the city. I was happy to meet some people that adopted their dogs from RAS.
While I was on Park Ave, I checked out the new shop dichotomy - full of items handmade in Rochester. What a great idea! I visited a shop in Boston similar to this and I'm thrilled we have one in Rochester now too.
I also spotted two new shops opening on Winton. Paternico's Bakery next to Balsam Bagel and Pasta Chef Top Go in the old Ravioli Shop location. Carbtastic! Oscar is counting the days til they open.
