I used my one Meyer lemon to make a couple tablespoons of lemon curd. It is soooo good!
I baked a batch of banana nut muffins to eat it on.
I knew the lemon curd wouldn't last long so I made a batch of blood-orange curd too. I thought it would be a brillant red-orange color.
Wrongo - instead it turned out... a weird fleshy color. Like a band-aid. It tastes great... bright and citrusy... but it might need some food coloring.
