Cake decorating

Aaron got me this absolutely amazing cake decorating set for Christmas. I love all the drawers and all the goodies that came inside.

Then he signed me & Tina up for a cake decorating class. I have never really taken an offical class. I have been sort of winging it though bunny cake, castle cake, caterpillar cake, princess cake, lady bug cake and domo cake.

It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot. Turns out I've been doing my stars wrong. I was double squeezing when you are supposed to squeeze, stop and lift. These are the practice cookies I did in class.

It's great taking a class where you get to eat your assignments.

I didn't have "learn something new" on my resolutions list but maybe I should add it!
