We had a clothes line at the old house but I couldn't quite figure out where to put one at the new house - there are so many trees and shade. Finally Aaron put a pipe in the ground and we got a folding extending clothes rack for the one sunny spot in the back yard.
It works really great. It even spins so I stand in one spot and rotate the rack to hang stuff. Towels smell so good when they are hung out to dry.
My great aunt made this clothes pin holder. Very handy.
I wish our line drying worked well here in Las Vegas. While they do dry super-fast here in the desert heat, the clothes are board-stiff and smell like sand. Pooh.
