For Day 28 of 30 Days of Creativity I arranged my books in order by color. I would have like to have done the rainbow from start to finish but I am limited to what book go on what shelf by shelf height so I had to do it on each shelf.
I think it looks cool. It remains to be seen if I'll be able to find the books I'm looking for now.
I like the way that u put ur books. When I move into my new place, I might put gum ball machine on the shelfs. I have over 200 cookbooks :-)
ReplyDeleteOne way I have seen to solve the books not fitting on the shelves problem is to do horizontal stacks for some colors. This is neat from a design perspective, but a poor choice if you regularly pull books out. It does make reading the titles easier, though.
ReplyDeleteI have my books organized by color. I actually find it easier to find books because I usually can visualize what color the book is. It drives my husband crazy though :P
