Turns out the snowmagedon snow is perfect snowman making snow.
Our first snowman in the first house.
He turned out pretty cute.
This guy is pretty cute too.

We are big fans of Pittsford Farms Dairy. We are also big fans of ice cream. So we were excited when the Dairy started to make their own ice cream.
The Dairy was taking suggestions for ice cream flavors so of course Aaron and i had to submit a few. Among our entries were banana split, pb and j and grapenut. Grapenut is a local favorite back home in PA.
Today when we went to the Dairy what did we find in the freezer? Grapenut! And they gave us a quart to try. It's so good! We are very pleased with ourselves right now.
We got some snow today. The snow gauge says we are up to 15 inches now.
Oscar likes running around but it's so deep now, he is limited to areas that are shoveled or plowed.
Tina who is in Florida on vacay asked for some photos so I took some of the house.
I like the side view... I even made a video.
I saw that Giada has a line of kitchen gear and cooking ingredients at Target. I like the colors but I had to say the gear could be cuter... like Nigella's egg shaped items. Has anyone tried the pasta or other food stuff?
I'm back home and Stewie thinks I've done enough blogging for awhile.
I have stared at Matthew's photo for quite awhile and I can't figure out if he has extra large nostrils or two marks on his nose. Either way it cracks me up and how cute would it be to see him peering up at you around your house?
Matthew is a 4-year-old male cat who was brought to Lollypop Farm with six other cats because his owner felt that she could not for them all. He is a playful cat—he likes mouse toys—and has a cute meow. Matthew has lived with cats, dogs, and children before, and he did well with every one! He loves being around people and getting attention, and he would make a wonderful companion.
I had a little time this morning to check out Downtown Disney before heading to the tradeshow for set up. Disney is pin heaven. (Mom I got you one!)
I am in Anaheim, California a few days for work. I am so close to Disneyland I can see it over the treetops. It rained this evening which I thought was rare for this area? Walking back from dinner I saw this little guy crossing the sidewalk. Funny how if it's a slug you think ewwww, but slap a shell on it and suddenly it's an adorable snail. Keep on, keepin' on little buddy.
The tights obsession is still going strong. I have been adding to my collection.
And now I am throwing tights into the mix. I vowed I will never wear them without a skirt or dress - I'm not brave enough to wear just like pants. I really digging them. They are so comfy and kicky.
Valentines Day is barely passed and I am already onto St.Patricks Day. Target has it's St. Pattys t-shirts all ready to go. I loved this Sweet Shamrock Soda one. It even has green recycling messaging!
Melba is a little tubby and is looking for someone to go for walk with. If you were looking for a fitness plan yourself you are looking at it. Everyone should have a workout partner.
Melba is a 6-year-old redbone coonhound mix who weighs about 100 pounds. She would love an active owner who would take her for lots of walks to help her lose the extra weight! She does well on the leash and likes walks. Melba would do best in a home without kids under 12, and she should meet any dogs in the household before being adopted. She would love to go home with her buddy Finley, who is also at Lollypop Farm. Melba is eligible for our Seniors-for-Seniors program, so adopters age 60 and older can take her home free of charge! - Lollypop Farm
Aaron had a movie theme for Valentines Day this year. He got us tickets to see "Valentines Day" and he got me this microwave popcorn popper. I love the popper. It even has a mesh lid that you can put butter in so it melts as the popcorn pops and coats the popcorn. Yum!
Happy Valentines Day everyone! I love the new messages on sweethearts! This one was my favorite! Aaron brought it home for me.
When I got up this morning there was a giant pillow heart waiting downstairs for me. Both Stewie and Oscar have been eyeballing it as a potential napping location - no! Bad kitty! Down boy!
Aaron sent me flowers at the office yesterday to kick off Valentines weekend. I love the peonies, hyacinth and pussy willows! What a nice surprise! (Even though they dribbled all over our receptionist's desk - oops!)
I made these I heart twitter buttons for my peeps for little Valentines Day treats. Have I mentioned how much I love my button maker?
I also made up these little goodie boxes for Tina, Shruti and Aprille. Inside were items I bought right in front of them! Clay bird for Tina, knit cup snuggy for Aprille and a bird decal for Shruti.
Here's another little gadget I got at CES. It is a wee speaker called Skully made by Headphonies.
I can hook Skully up to my iPhone or iPod and play music through him. Very handy... and cute.
I love decorating for Valentines Day. (ok what holiday DON'T I love to decorate for?) I was excited to set up my heart tree in the new house. I had Aaron get me an extra big branch for it since we have more room now.
It looks so nice on our mantle with my other bits and bobs. The red really stands out. Almost makes me want to keep the living room white. Hah - almost.
How cute is this little guy? Would you believe he is a usb storage device?
*boop* You just bend his head back and there it is. They are made by a company called Bone and my friend Peggy got him for me at CES. How sweet was that? He just makes me smile.
I love the Super Bowl. I mean I love Super Bowl food.
For the Super Bowl party we went to, I made deviled eggs.
Just to take it up a notch, I added bacon and chives. And sprinkled them with smoked paprika.
There was a also a contest for the best Super Bowl sundae topping. We made ittle bitty chocolate chip cookies.
Do you know how long it takes to scoop out teeny weeny cookie? For-evah!
Every year I miss a really cool indie craft show in Rochester because we go home to PA for Thankgiving. I was really excited to see that Java's was having a craft show for Valentines Day.
There were so many cute things, I did get a few. I tried to match the goodies up with the creator, but I was shoving things in my bag willy nilly, so I hope I didn't switch them up.
Starting at top going clockwise.
- knit coffee cup snuggie from knits & pottery
- wall decal and postcard from Shanna Murray
- Valentine from greengirlpress
- felted flower pin from second seed
- earrings from Mars
- clay pottery bird from Vicki Hartman
Again, another kitty with an adorable name - Fickle. I would call her Fickle the Pickle. I love it when kitties have white bibs like Fickle.
Fickle is a 7-year-old female cat who was brought to Lollypop Farm because her owner had too many pets and could not take care of them all. She is a beautiful and petite girl who previously lived with children and other cats and did well. She likes people, but she also likes her alone time. Fickle is eligible for our Seniors-for-Seniors program, so adopters age 60 and older can adopt her free of charge!
I love potstickers so I was curious when I saw this recipe for swiss chard potstickers.
I was a little dubious when we were mixing up the mushrooms and swiss chard. But they turned out delicious!
Even better, I used the leftover potsticker wrapper for dessert, and filled them with nutella. YUM!
Yesterday Oscar and Stewie were on the Kodak 1000 Words Blog. A few years ago I attached a digital camera to Oscar. This time I attached a Zi8 Pocket Video Camera and let him shoot some video.
Stewie shot some video too, but it's not very interesting - you can watch both the videos on the blog post.
Oh - if you get motion sickness, don't watch Oscar's video.
I have blogged about the ridiculously cute Sweet Millions New York Lottery commercials before. Now on Sweet Millions website you can build disgustingly cute scenes.
Tina and I were cracking up because you can do things like add a snoozing kitten or have bunnies say Hi Jenny!
I almost forgot to blog about this because I picked it up on the way home from my parents at Christmas and it seemed ridiculous to blog about Valentines Day so early. I found this in the Target $1 bins... it was $2.50 however, but still a great deal. It's perfect for our Jack & Jill bathroom upstairs.
