We had a Christmas brunch this morning with Chuck, Tina and Lauren. I love brunch! We had fruit and sausage bubbles & squeak...
... and Aaron made ebelskiver - stuffed Swedish pancakes! Yum... chocolate inside!
Then we exchanged Xmas gifts. We got Lauren a set of cleaning toys! Not sure if that is a present more for her (or if she actually uses them, a gift for Tina)
She had a good time scrubbing Oscar.
Surprisingly we have ebelskiver or stuffed pancake in Cambodia as well.
ReplyDeleteIt will be a plain one and dip in coconut milk salty-sweet sauce.
I wonder how does it taste like with chocolate filling hehe
Oh, have merry jolly Christmas ya ^_^
Jenny, were you at your house here? The reason why I ask ~ we have the SAME rocking chair! I've never seen it anywhere else! It used to belong to my grandma. Do you know the history behind your chair? I'd love to know more about the one that we have, where it was made, etc. I just love it!
ReplyDeleteYour table looks so pretty and festive set for Christmas brunch!
ReplyDeleteI'll be careful ab the crib bumpers. It must be an American thing because I have never heard of someone not using them or of a baby being smoothered by them. Maybe because our babies usually don't move to their crib until they can move their head from side to side? Interesting Thought though. Thanks! Merry Christmas!
k.o.p.i.a.i.s - they are very good with chocolate inside!
ReplyDeleteLisanne - yes, that is my house. My parents found the rocking chair for me because they have one just like it. I can ask them what they know.
Shannon - thank you! I'm not sure what you mean about crib bumpers though - no babies here!
Ooh--pancakes with chocolate inside? Sign me up! :)
ReplyDeleteI just got an ebelskiver pan for Christmas and I thought I had seen you post a picture on here. I'm excited to use it! I also got a great brunch cookbook you might like:
