I think I could pretty much live in flip flops through the summer. I have been hearing about these Brazilian flip flops called Havaianas. I found myself on the website today and sorta kinda ordered a couple pairs. They had such cute patterns!
Aaron in case you are reading this... I got you a pair too.
Heh heh! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteYou won't be disappointed! Havaianas are hugely popular here in Australia, and they're so squishy, soft & comfortable. Mine survived long walks through many European cities last year and are still in great condition.
ReplyDeleteoooer dangerous, welcome to your havaianas addiction. I have so many in so many different colours. They are very comfy :D
ReplyDeleteif you have a modell's near you they have them on sale for 10$ ! really cute patterns too..
ReplyDeleteHere in sunny Barcelona there is a shop run by a lovely french lady who imports them... she then customizes them for you by 'piercing' them and adding in diamonds or other sparkly colours onto the straps! So cool! Enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteLove the purple ladybugs!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Havaianas! It started out innocently with a pair of hot pink metallic ones at the end of summer before last. Now I have 5 pair, and really want more but I have to have will power!
ReplyDeleteThey are wonderful! Like walking on marshmallows. You can definitely tell the difference in the cheap ones after you wear Havainans for a while. I have lived in mine this summer (my favorites are metallic silver).
Sorry for gushing...but I can't recommend them enough!
Haviannas are the best flip flops! They also carry them at Urban Outfitters and if you have Boston Store near you, they just started carrying them too. You can definitely tell the difference from the Haviannas and other cheap flip flops.
ReplyDeleteThose are cute....I usually buy Tevas because i need something really "bendy" the only other ones that dont hurt my feet are those crummy grocery store 99 cent rubber ones...they dont hurt my feet....
ReplyDeleteMy friend did a mission in Brazil and fell in LOVE with these. Apparently she bought like 20 pairs or something. I'm glad you brought this link to my attention because I mentioned to her that I wanted a pair.
ReplyDeleteOh gracious, and I am not allowed to buy any more shoes.
ReplyDeleteYou are going to love these! I have the black ones with the Brazilian flag. My boyfriends roommates in college were from Brazil and they had sooo many pairs, since they said in Brazil they were only a couple dollars!
ReplyDeleteWhen I can't wait for my parents to come visit and bring me a few (ok, several) pairs, I order them from Brazilian stores in the US (e.g. http://www.brazilexplore.com/shop/products.aspx?catid=61)
ReplyDeleteI heart havaianas!!! They cost that little bit more but are soooo worth it. Only thing is you can't buy internationally from the us site :( will just have to wait until they come to Australia
