Aaron bought a pizza pan for the grill on sale at Wegmans and we finally decided to try it out. We made the pizza on a peel...
... and then slid it onto the hot pan. We forgot the mozzarella cheese and had to throw it on top in a hurry.
Turned out great! A little thicker than I generally like my pizza (I'm a thin crust gal) but it was nice and crispy. It was nice to have pizza without heating up the kitchen with the oven.
Hey, that's pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteWe make pizza on our grill without a pan. You put the dough onto the grill for like 5 minutes to cook the bottom a bit. Flip it over, put your toppings on and finish cooking. We love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your wonderful blogg! You given me a lot of ideas, tips and inspiration during the years! Now hopefully I can give you one tip: if you like good pizza, you really must try the artichoke, broccoli and cheese pizza from Artichoke Basille's in New York next time you go there. It may sound like a strange combination but oh, they are good! They don't accept credit card, they only have take away, and there is always people standing in line outside but it's 100% worth it.
