So I spent the weekend camping in PA and attending the Case Knife Collectors Appreciation weekend with Aaron and my parents. Aaron and my dad were giddy with excitement.
I was pretty happy too, when I won one pocket knife and got to keep another after a wood carving demo.
Of course I did manage to cut myself after the wood carving demo. No, not carving... I shut my knife on my finger. I appreciated the Case branded band-aids though.
We also got to celebrate the Zippo Car's tenth birthday. I thought it was really cute they made the car a party hat.
And saved a piece of cake for the car.
After my parents left, Aaron and I lingered to go for a canoe ride.
I wasn't good at rowing with a bandaged finger, but a good weekend all in all.
I'm too neurotic about ruining my camera to take it canoeing, so I have no cute pictures. Sadness. It looks fun though!
ReplyDeleteSounds like an awesome weekend! That looks like a sweet knife you've won there too.
ReplyDeleteThat is a sweet knife indeed, but I prefer folding or butterfly knives over this.
ReplyDeleteThe pocket knife looks very enticing. Congratulations on winning those knives. I have a collection of knives as well that includes pocket knife, kershaw knife, buck knife and crook knife.
ReplyDeleteThese pocket knives would be a great addition on my collection. Some of my knives are cold steel and kershaw knives. By the way, I like the style of the first pocket knife. It looks simple and elegant.
