Also a long time reader and blog stalker. My daughter is only 4 months old, but I can't WAIT for her to play piano. PUH-LEEZE post where you found that!
Haha, this reminds me of my parents' best friends - they have kids about the same age as me and my sister, so whenever gift giving occasions would come around, they'd always get gifts that either make noise or have a bajillion tiny pieces. There are still lite-brite pegs stuck in some of the [long unused] keyholes of doors of my parent's 80-year old house.
I must say, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the piano. I had spotted one online at Christmas time, but got the kitchen then. The noise does not bother me (yet), and sometimes Lauren even seems to play something that sounds almost good rather than horror movie music. I do hope that over the next few years, she learns real songs. But rest assured, a tambourine is in "aary" (what Lauren calls Jenny and Aaron) jr.'s future =)
Ah, the shirt. Yep, as Jenny wrote - Banana Republic - scored it on sale (which is pretty much the only way I buy BR) while we were in Las Vegas. Got if for around twenty bucks =)
Hi, sorry I'm normally a blog stalker and never comment. But I had to ask where you found this perfect, PERFECT gift?
ReplyDeleteI agree with them this is the perfect gift. My daughter will be turing 2 this year. Where can I find one in advance? :D
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what is cuter....that pink piano, or Lauren's two pig tails sticking straight up?!
ReplyDelete(Awesome gift!)

ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! Um, they don't happen to make that in my size, do they? ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's a First Act Discovery Grand Piano we got at Toys R Us.
ReplyDeleteThat pink grand piano is sooo cute! I would've so loved that as a kid.
ReplyDeleteThat look on her face is priceless! I love it!
ReplyDeleteAaaah, so, SO cute!
ReplyDeleteLongtime reader/lurker. TOO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteMy two year old girl got an upright bright red Schoenhut piano for Christmas. It IS the perfect gift! (Got ours from Macy's)

ReplyDeleteUh oh - buying other people's children noisy toys is bad karma ;)
ReplyDeleteYou just know they're going to get you back for that!
That is a great gift. It's something I'm sure she'll enjoy and the pink color has your name all over it. How thoughtful.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina! I spy you in the background.

ReplyDeleteI love the piano but I love Tina's shirt even more (sorry)! Can Tina tell us where she bought it- thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt just so happens I was with Tina when she bought the shirt so I can tell you it is from Banana Republic
