I have been collecting plastic deer for a few years now. My mom has
found quite a few for me at yard sales and flea markets. I even decided
that they would play a big role in this years Christmas theme.
So you can imagine how surprised I was when I saw this spread in this
month's Martha Stewart Living.
Little plastic deer everywhere.
Sometimes I feel like she is watching me.
But I am using her Michaels craft stuff for my "Woodland Creatures"
Christmas themed projects so it's all good.
I read your blog everyday. I love it. I think your collections are all so neat BUT where the heck do you put it all????
ReplyDeleteDarn if that wasn't JUST what I was thinking! Little plastic deer, sure, throw 'em all ina Rubbermaid tote..but the vintage Pyrex?? I can only imagine your organizational powers are ginormous. Anyway, I also agree with momma that your blog rocks.
ReplyDeleteMy collections are all under control with the help of boxes, a big spare room shelf and a label maker. We have a root cellar in our basement that the previous owners put shelving in... that is where the pyrex is. I rotate my favorite pieces from there into a cupboard in my dining room seasonally. It's weird... but I enjoy organizing stuff.
ReplyDeleteWow, a Martha Stewart Living on faux deer--so by collecting things behind the times, you are actually ahead of the times! She pro'lly could've used your collection for her photo spred.
