Today when I logged into Blogger I saw the option to switch to the new beta version. It looked good so I started to sign up for it. Unfortunately I was r-e-j-e-c-t-e-d for the beta version because I have over two thousand posts. I have 2,682 to be exact. Wow.
I am kinda bummed though that I can't upgrade because I'm a veteran blogger.
Wow, that's a lotta posts! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought... I felt tired after I found it out.
ReplyDeleteI have a huge amount of posts too (blogger since 2001) and it just let me switch the other day. It took a while but I was able to do it.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't upgrade either. You would think they would want the people who actually use their Blogger accounts to try the new beta version.
ReplyDeleteconsider yourself lucky. i know a lot of bloggers have been having problems with it.
ReplyDeleteI don't have as many posts but ot didn't let me switch either... But they say the"ll switch everyone soon, so... I set up a new blog, and I have to say it's much easier now for people like me who don't understand much about computer stuff :-)
ReplyDeleteI can't switch either and it BUGS me! I wanna be part of the cool kids!
ReplyDeleteThat's not a nice reward for someone who has been so loyal to Blogger despite all the tempting alternatives that have cropped up.
ReplyDeleteI'm nervous about switching...what if I don't like it? They won't let you switch back. One of these days I'm going to get the gusto to do it, however.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't let me switch either. Especially annoying because I have to look at so many "SWITCH NOW!" banners, like it's the greatest thing, and I CAN'T!
ReplyDeletebexala: You can switch back. It saves your original content and you can revert back to that anytime.
ReplyDeleteI don't do beta...wait, is Flickr still beta?
ReplyDeleteblogger let me 'upgrade', but none of the new features work for me. apparently new features that depend on dynamic serving not be available for ftp published blogs. meanie heads.
