The squirrels are making a lot of headway on my indian corn. Freeloaders.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate squirrels... I think they are quite cute. In fact Aaron thinks I secretly enjoy this little fall rivalry I have with them.
He is probably right, but I am not going to be knitting myself a squirrel print playsuit like on this pattern book. My mom found a bunch of these old knitting magazines and I thought this one was hilarious.
Awh, I like squirrels. Then again I din't have any corn for them to steal so I can't really say.
ReplyDeleteYou might need to check in with the wonderful gals over at the Threadbared site! They might be able to use some of these pictures or maybe you could join in the fun too!
ReplyDeleteOh, and it sounds kinda fun having a little tug of war with the squirrely types - but I think they're winning...
I think that next year maybe you should get some of this (no, I do not sell it or own stock in the company)...

It's safe for animals. And trust me, once the squirrel tries to eat anything with this stuff sprayed on, it will be the LAST time it will go near it.
I've used it myself. It works really well.
i know how much you love your pug

Love the fall banner!
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw that corn I thought it was hanging from your rearview like fuzzy dice.
