Recently, I have been watching the TV series, Firefly. It's no longer on the air but after recommendations from Sarah and Lisa I got the DVD's from Netflix. The movie, Serenity, that came out this past year was based on the show.

When I first watched it, I thought Captain Mel looked so familiar. I thought... "Oh! That's Justine Bateman's brother!" *Google* Nope... it's not Jason Bateman. Then I thought "Oh! That's the guy that's dating Rebecca Romijn (no longer Stamos). *Google* Huh-uh. It's not Jerry O'Connell. Finally then I got it... he was Joey Bucchanan from One Life to Live (hey you gotta watch something in college between classes) and the boyfriend of the girl in Two Guys, a Girl and Pizza Place. Nathan Fillion. Whew!

But honestly... look at the three of them. Can you see how I was confused? Umm... right?

    Firefly is an awesome tv series...too bad it was so short lived. If you've already seen Serenity, make sure to watch it again after finishing Firefly. It will make more sense.

    I adore all three of these men so I often trade them out when I envision which shall propose to me first. (Though I think they're all taken. Darn.)

    I looove loooove Firefly. Best series. So sad its cancelled. Yes I do remember him from Two guys, a girl and a pizza place. Wow two stars from that show. Ryan Reynolds. Yumm! Atleast the guys. Jason Bateman is pretty cute too! Jerry O'Connell eh. But I can see the resemblence.

    that's how I am about Matthew McConaughey and Owen Wilson.. Im sure next to each other they look totally different, unlike your guys above! they do all look quite similar!

    I love Firefly! I got hooked on it last summer when the SciFi Channel was airing it. Then I went out and bought the DVD and then rushed to the theatre to see 'Serenity'.

    I didn't realize until you put those pictures up, but Nathan really really looks like Jason Bateman. It's uncanny.

    I love Firefly! When hubby first told me about this sci-fi western I thought it sounded unbearable, but it is the best series! The characters are great and they have some hilarious one-liners.

    Just have to say how cool it was to pull up my daily blog read and see Nathan Fillion front and center. I love it when my worlds collide like that :) I'm glad you're enjoying Firefly, it was such a good series. I'm still holding out hope that we'll get something more (maybe a movie sequel, or possibly even a network picking the series back up). A girl can wish...

    Yeah - secretly I think they're the same person using 3 different names. That way, if one name doesn't get work the other 2 can.

    I thought it was Jason Batemen at first too. But I remembered Nathon Fillion most recently from Buffy.

    Hollywood does this a lot.

    Look at Natalie Portman and Kiera Knightley.

    or Tobey (spidey) MAguire, Elijah (Frodo) Wood, and heck even joaquin phoenix and jake gyllenhaal. ( though i have much more respect for the latter two) all doughy blue eyed boys!

    oh, i have one. julia roberts could be sisters or twins with juliette binoche.

    Keira Knightly was actually cast as Natalie Portman's look-alike decoy maid in the first Star Wars prequel because of that resemblance.
