My parents are up for the holiday and to help with our patio. Today we went on a catamaran ride on the lake. I made mom wear pressure wristbands so she wouldn't get seasick. They worked!
I can also personally vouch that they TOTALLY work! As someone who once got seasick in a hammock, I was skeptical that these little bands would quell the churning of my stomach that occurs on any moving vehicle. But be it planes, trains, or automobiles (and ships, of course), I strap them on and feel fine. Love the Sea Bands and would highly recommend!
I used these too on a trip from Australia to New Zealand. They so totally worked and saved me the embarassment of having to use the little paper airline bag. Phew! :)
Unfortunately, they didn't really help my morning sickness either. Nor did they help to conceal my pregnancy while I was still trying to hide it from my co-workers (along with the extra trash can I kept in my office). Not so trendy, those blue cotton bands.

ReplyDeleteThey may work for seasickness but did NOTHING for my morning sickness. Ugh.
