I was at Wegmans trying to find the Turkey Hill Mango and Green Tea frozen yogurt I posted about last week, when my attention was diverted to boxes of Turkey Hill Birthday Cake ice cream. Lordy. Ice cream swirled with buttercream frosting and chunks of cake.

I was already addicted to the Bruster's Birthday Cake ice cream, and now I can enjoy it in the comfort of my own home. (We still like going to Bruster's though because they give free dog sundaes) Of course I cannot find a mention or picture of the birthday ice cream on the Turkey Hill site. That makes me nervous it will go away soon and be as hard to find as the elusive Mango and Green Tea flavor.

What I did find on the Turkey Hill site was information about their 75th Birthday Party. You can enter a contest to win prizes... the most fabulous of which is.... are you ready for this? A 13 FOOT, TWO TON GIANT COW LAWN ORNAMENT! Ack! Must have! You can opt for cash... but how could you pass up A GIANT COW? I so want this for my front yard. Woo-hoo!

  1. I tried to find the Green Tea and Mango frozen yogurt after you mentioned it, but no luck! I was quite disappointed since I had been looking forward to it.

  5. Bluebell (truly the best store bought ice cream known to man) has birthday cake ice cream as well. If you can get it in your area, it's definitely worth a try.

  7. They have the green tea and mango at one grocery store that I shop at, but not the other. It has been on sale for $3 but with a doubled coupon I got it for $1. I am already on the second carton. It is delicious. I think I am going to help myself to another cone of it right now! I sure hope you find it soon!

  8. Is it bad if the first thing I thought of when I saw "Turkey Hill" is Martha Stewart's house?

    Great blog, btw.

  9. re: the cow - remember back in the day when you picked prizes on Wheel of Fortune?
I went on the show (and lost - stupid wheel) and really, all I wanted was that ceramic dalmation. That's it - didn't care if I got the car, jewelry, or anything else. Just the dalmation.
uhhh - you might be too young for that particular recollection...
But I understand the need for COW!

  10. Did your Creamstone ever get cake batter ice cream? Our cake batter never seemed to go away and it's the best of any I've ever tried. It's been too long...
