As part of post birthday week, Aaron and I went to the Lilac Festival today. The lilacs are at their peak thanks to our mild winter.

And thanks to the plethora of festival food, my tummy is quite full. Here are some pics of our day in my Gallery from the parade to stuffing ourselves with funnel cake.

    I wish lilacs bloomed just a little bit longer. Nothing greater than catching a sniff of that perfume in the air!

    I miss lilacs! We don't have them in NC :( Those are beautiful. I agree, they should last longer and in hotter climates :)

    The paper said the big thing this year was to be chocolate covered kettle korn. Be still, my heart!
