Yep... we adopted a kitty. His name was Bazooka, but we are changing it to Stewart... Stewie for short... Stu for super short. Amy and I convinced Aaron that this was the perfect kitty for us. He is rather lazy. Should get along great with Oscar.
We adopted a cat and named him Stewart. Later we found out it was a her instead of him. Now she has two names, Stewart and Stewsan (rhymes with Susan). She answers to both so I guess she's ok with them.
Yay a new family member! My doggie also has a kitty best friend and I often find them napping together, though my pooch denies it when he wakes up! As if he betrayed the doggie race lol. ~S
Now your house is almost like our house, except replace the bunny with two guinea pigs and replace the turtle with two fish. Well, and replace the pug with a corgi! But that cats are the same!! Congrats!

ReplyDeleteGood for you to adopt an adult kitty! They are terrific and there are no real surprises in terms of personality or temperment. Hurray! Enjoy him!
ReplyDeleteGood for you for adopting an adult cat! It's so nice to see.
ReplyDeleteI have a gray tabby and he's the best: very talkative and affectionate. I know you will love your new edition!

ReplyDeleteOMG Oscar's face! He's looking a little scared...or maybe just shocked.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! There's nothing more wonderful than a new member to the family!!
ReplyDeleteIn the second picture of Oscar it looks like he heard you say he was lazy. =)
ReplyDeleteWhat a good boy Oscar is! If we brought a cat into this house there's no way our crazy pup would ever sit that still!
ReplyDelete"What?! He is staying?"
ReplyDeleteThat's a great photo with an even better caption!
Will Erni and Stu get on together? Always thought cats might go for wabbits?
ReplyDeleteStewie hasn't shown much interest in Ernie.
