Aaron brought me home a lovely Easter lily. The only problem is the poinsetta he brought me at Christmas is still hanging around. I have never had one survive so long.
It bothers me having the two together... it's like having a Christmas tree with Easter eggs on it.
I always have poinsettas for Christmas, but come January I start "forgetting" to water them until they look bad enough to toss. Some of my neighbors plant them in the yard and they have huge poinsetta bushes all year long.

ReplyDeletewhat climate do you live in? I wonder if I could plant mine outside and have it grow...
Poinsettias and Easter lilies are both blooming right now in Bermuda . . .
ReplyDeleteemily ann, I live in Orlando, FL, where we have to plant poinsettas to pretend it's Christmas outside.
ReplyDeleteI'd pitch the poinsettia.
