I made something very similar but as pins. I did a blanket stitch around the outside, put a circle in the center instead of a heart, and put a button in the center of the circle. They are very cute!
OMG! That's FABULOUS!! I gotta make some. Maybe little chickies for Easter or something. What kind of glue did you use? I hate glue gun glue. isn't very lasting.
