Tina update: So most of you know that Tina was on bedrest since the beginning of December due to complications with her pregnancy. Unfortunately, on the 26th her water broke and she went into the hospital. There have been some ups and downs, but overall she is good, the baby is good (it's a she!), and Chuck has been super. She has to stay there until she delivers., but her spirits are up despite it all and they are just taking it day by day.
The pictures are from mid-December when we had our Christmas exchange. What is that they are clutching so gleefully? This year's handmade gifty which I will be elaborating on later.
That's got to be Alton Brown's White Trash mix, right?? It was you who were so evil as to introduce me to that recipe last year, and I had to make it again this year because my friends couldn't get enough of it. Seriously strangely addictive, that stuff is.
ReplyDeleteI'll be sending good thoughts towards Tina and Chuck.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the update on Tina. I keep sending her healthy vibes.
ReplyDeleteGood thoughts and prayers for her and the baby. My water broke with Malia at 15 weeks. When is she due?
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Thank you for the update. Wishing her, the baby and Chuck good thoughts!
ReplyDeletePlease pass along my positive internet thoughts from Toronto. I'll be sending healthy vibes across the border (and the lake) for Tina, Chuck and their daughter!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the Tina update- I've been wondering how she's been doing. Give her hugs for us! And I can't wait to read all about the gifty!
ReplyDeleteShe has to stay in the hospital until she delivers?? Isn't that in like, 4-5 months?? Awwww man, that poor girl.....
ReplyDeleteHey there woman. I just found your site. It is possibly the cutest site i've ever seen. All kitchy and girly but not in a vomitty way. I've never seen someone do SO MUCH with blogger. I will totally be back. BTW, your wedding looked perfect.
ReplyDeleteI'm holding good thoughts for Tina, Chuck and the little one from all the way out in Colorado. Thanks for the update!

Many prayers and good thoughts for tina and chuck. thank you for the updates
ReplyDeleteI definitely wish Tina and Chuck all the best. That's a lot to go through, but I can tell you that it will absolutely be worth it!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping for the best for Tina and Chuck! My first pregnancy was also high risk with hospitalization. It was awful then, but now, with my crazy three year old running around, I almost forget it happened.
ReplyDeletemy regards to your friends. My first pregnancy ended at 28 weeks but thankfully my daugghter and i were fine. I was confined to a hospital bed for 11 days and i was predicted to be there for 12 more if they could of held off the contractions.
ReplyDeleteAll my prayers are out there.
