Wow... so I won! Not without some controversy though... which some people found exciting... heh... I found it a tad stressful.

I have to say... even better than winning, was the influx of wonderful comments and emails from readers as a result of "the accusation". Some days one wonders, "Why do I do this?". It is nice to be reminded every once in awhile. Thank you to everyone, for your votes and for your support. I feel very honored, especially in the company of the other blogs in my category, they were all very well done.

    You definitely earned it. I'm glad you won, because I wasn't as diligent with the q24* (that's every 24 hours in nurse/internet lingo) voting. Sometimes I'd try and it would be too soon, and sometimes I'd be too frazzled from work to remember for a few days. If you hadn't won, I would have kicked myself.

    Good for you! I was really peeved at the nasty comments being left about your site - as well as the other sites. Just since its a 'blog award' suddenly justifies people acting really rudely? They should be ashamed for acting in such a way. Good for you for staying relatively calm and collected girl! Congrats!

    I've always adored your design - I am always checking your site to see what you and your two boys have been up to. I absolutely adore your site. Keep up the fabulous work jenny! :D

    How awesome! i can't remember how i stumbled on your site... but it's been well over a year and a half ago. LJCFYI is my homepage, the first thing i see in the morning at work - It saves me from viewing the insanity of any "news" website as i fire up the computer. i'd much rather see what you and Aaron and Oscar are up to, rather than seeing the latest terror alert!     Yes Jenny, I admit again that I did find the scuffle entertaining. Sorry. So here's a simple recipe with a twist from how I always made it:

    Notre Dame Meatballs

    Bag of frozen meatballs
    1/2 C grape jelly
    1/2 C chili sauce
    1/4 C dijon mustard

    mix all the sauce stuff together and dump it in a crock pot with the meatballs. Set on low for a couple of hours or so and snarf them down. Viola and Merry Christmas!
