Today was Carrie's first birthday party. I had a gift theme... dogs. I got her a doggie flashlight, a dog board book and made her a tote bag with her and her own two pooches, Murphy and Molly.
You can imagine how pleased I was when her mom held it up and she pointed at herself.
What a lucky girl with her own LJC likeness, and her pooches too!
ReplyDeleteYour art work is great! I also love the idea of a doggie-themed party!
ReplyDeleteGreat job as usual.
ReplyDeleteJenny, how did you get the image on the tote bag? Is it iron on?
ReplyDeleteJulia - yes I used iron on inkjet paper
ReplyDeletewhere did you get the idea for that adorable little doll figure on the tote bag?? She's so cute!

My girlfriend just gave a Pink Poodle Birthday party for her little girl. When she told me I laughed because it reminded me of a line from Many Moons when the Magician makes blue poodles.
ReplyDeleteI gave a spring party for my little girl at the local arboretum. We hiked, had a picnic, and then the girls all got homemade flower presses and a pot of pink pansies that had pink tissue and a satin ribbon around the pot. All the girls gasped when they saw the flowers and said they were so pretty. So cute to see 4th graders appreciating flowers.
How did I miss this post!!!! SOOO CUUTE!!!
