I went looking for Moda Dea yarn mostly because my friend Natalie works for them. But when I found the yarn at Michaels (very convenient, probably have it at Joanne Fabrics too) I was excited at all the different kinds of fancy yarns they had.
Tina mentioned in her blog that we liked looking at the fun names they came up with for their yarns... Chichi, Flip, Fur Ever. I ended up getting some Dream in Lavender to make a capelet pattern my friend Debbie gave me. What I love about the yarn is it is so soft. It is nylon and acrylic, but it looks and feels like Ernie. He begrudingly agreed to pose with the skein so I could demonstrate the similarity.
My friend and I were looking at paint colors at Glidden and noticing the same exact thing. My fave was a mustard yellow called "That 70's Color".
ReplyDeleteOK, when I first saw that, I thot Ernie WAS the yarn. Hahahha. My lil sis just adopted bunnies, and they are called Hoover (named because he hoovers his food) and Pinto because it's Hoover's logical sidekick. They're so cute.
ReplyDeleteErnie is sooooo cute! What a little fluffball!
ReplyDeleteI can't tell...in the second photo, is Ernie balancing the skein on his head? Is this another Oolong in the making? :)
ReplyDeleteWow...ernie is the cutest fluff ball ever!! he looks like he just had a blow dry or something..
ReplyDeletehis fur is definately coat potential..ha..ha..
