Nearly a year after I first started getting Cottage Living magazine and was inspired to add shutters and windowboxes to my house, to achieve a "cottage look", the vision complete.
Aaron hung the window boxes today. I don't know if my house is going to be mistaken for a cottage now, but it does look nicer.
Very nice, Love the awning!
ReplyDeleteI like the real thing even more than the photoshop mockup! It looks great.

Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteNice job. Did you recently change the color of your house? It looks a little greener than I remember seeing before. Maybe it's because of the windowboxes. They are gonna be really pretty when the flowers grow. I want one. Are you gonna water the one on the upper story window through the window or do you have another way to do it?
ReplyDeleteElaine - I think the house photographs different colors depending on the lighting... if it is sunnier or whatnot. I have been watering all the boxes through the windows and it works pretty well.
ReplyDeletejenny, it looks so good. doesn't it make it feel so great to come home to it? :)
ReplyDeleteIT looks awesome. I bet you have the prettiest house on the block.
ReplyDeleteYour house looks great!
ReplyDeleteI just had to say, I love your blog!
Beautiful and very cottagey!
ReplyDeleteMy house used to be that color. But it sure didn't look nice like that.
