Why are these people so happy? Because after they came out of the movie theatre they saw a sign next door that said "Coming Soon - Cold Stone Creamery". Reason to celebrate indeed.
Ohh - ours is good, but they discontinued some of our favorite flavors. It's sort of annoying when the staff there (usually teenagers) break into song when they get a tip- you can tell how horrified they are to have to sing!! It reminds me of when the staff at the Disney Store did those cheering routines (do they still do that?)
that's so weird, i read the name of that icecream store and did a double take..in australia we have "cold rock icecreamery" don't really know what the deal is with rocks and stone and icecream..but hey..YUM!
Aaaaaa! Where? Is that Pittsford Plaza? I used to go to Cold Stone all the time when I lived in Phoenix, and keep telling my husband they'd better open one here...
Katelin - I think Cold Stone Creamery is called that because they mix your scoop of ice cream with the fixins on a cold marble slab so it doesn't melt.
They seem to be popping up all over the place and yet I still haven't been to one. I found out my mother and sister went without me a few weeks ago and I was totally jealous!
I just went to one in Madison, Wisconsin and it's kind of expensive....so I'm not all that excited about the one openeing soon here in Williamsville, NY
Heck yeah! We did that dance when we saw one at Clay Terrace near Indy. There is no other place to get Cake Batter ice cream as Keri said. I'm basically a scoop purist and my son loves Cake Batter Milkshakes. -kat
The only way to celebrate your un-birthday is to eat Birthday Cake Remix! Yum.
"Now statistics prove Prove that you've one birthday Imagine just one birthday every year Ah, but there are 364 unbirthdays Precisely why we're gathered here to cheer." Alice in Wonderland
There was a fire in the apartment above the Cold Stone near me and I was driving by and saw it and nearly cried-for the Cold Stone! (but also for the poor people, turns out it wasn't that bad, noone was hurt and the Cold Stone was open the next day!)
I had never heard of Cold Stone Creamery until one recently opened here in Starkville MS. Friday we went there for a friend's birthday and I had my first taste of cake batter ice cream. Farewell, diet, our time together was so brief... -Callie

ReplyDeleteWe have Cold Stones out here in Missouri, too. For my birthday this year, my husband got me a Cold Stone Creamery cake. It was awesome!
