For the first time in Ljc history, it is the week of Christmas and the tree is up, the house is decorated, all gifts are bought and wrapped, cookies are baked, cards have been mailed, a party has been held and pictures shared... even the dog has his holiday collar on. Just a few packages to drop off at the post office and I... am... done! (yes... a little late for packages... my apologies to those living out-of-town)
It has finally snowed here and it is bitter cold (think 1 degree ). For anyone who doesn't have snow, here are some online snowflake makers. one... two... three... four and five
Also... I heard the song The Cat Carol on my way to work and cried the whole way. Too sad.
I have read your posts (found you thru Megan @ Not Martha) and have enjoyed your adventures and postings. Your party looked fun! You always have such innovative ideas, Jenny! Have a wonderful Chrstmas and give Oscar a big treat from me.

Damn, I just read the lyrics to that song and I started to cry. I must buy that cd.
ReplyDeleteWhy, why, WHY did I click on the cat carol link while at work? Why, why, WHY did I not realize that if it made you cry, I'd probably cry too? So I did the next best thing...emailed the link to some other like-minded folk at work so I'm not the only one looking sad. ;)
ReplyDeleteAh, Christmas memories...my co-worker would play that song over his speakers at work, just loud enough so that only he and I could hear, and then he would take great glee in watching me tear up. You would think that after hearing it 5 times in one day the song would have lost its impact, but no... I cried each and every time!
ReplyDeleteMerry Merry to you and Aaron and Oscar and Ernie!
