In the name of science, Aaron wanted to see what would happen if Oscar was presented with an open bag of dog food. The conclusion? If left to his own devices he would most certainly eat until he exploded. I halted the experiment before any such incident occured.
That's quite funny and Oscar is such a cute lil' fella :-) My Susie (a Maltese) is a picky princess and turns her nose up at pellets. She loves wet food though and probably would not know when to stop if there was a huge supply lying around.
ReplyDeletetoo funny!

Man! That is HILARIOUS!! :))
ReplyDeleteOh, do I know that one well! That's why we affectionately refer to our pug Lenny as "pig dog" or "our little Marlon Brando" (Dr. Moreau Brando, not Streetcar Brando...).
ReplyDeleteLenny and I love hearing about what Oscar gets up to :)
Thanks for a wonderful blog!

what a cutie! just out of curiousity, do you guys feed him certain amounts at certain times during the day, or do you just fill his bowl up and let him eat whenever he's hungry? i'm not a 'little dog' person, but i've always had a soft spot for pugs. don't think i could sell my husband on getting one, though.
ReplyDeleteHa, yes I love that. I accidently left an "unopened" bag of dry cat food on my kitchen floor for a day and when I came home from work that afternoon my cat had ripped a hole in the bag big enough for her paws.

The dogs with their heads in food is hilarious. We used to let my childhood dog drink from paper cups, and he'd get his nose stuck inside trying to get the last bits. Never failed to entertain. :)
ReplyDeleteWe also get a big kick out of Oscar's adventures. I call my boyfriend to the computer whenever there's a new Oscar post. :)
Oscar is such a great dog, he inspired my cats to start catster pages for themselves. (Well, I helped.)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful blog!
On a Pug Note, here's some pix I ran across:
