Since we have been
going to the Public Market regularly and we like to take the scooter we needed
something to carry our goodies in. The scooter has a trunk only big enough to
hold my helmet. I once saw a couple at the market with a Backpack
Basket and I thought it was cool. A couple weeks later we found them at
the Penfield Wegmans on sale for 8 bucks! So we got two! Then I did a search
for them online and they go for $60 to $80! Score!!!
Aaron says he feels like a pack mule when he wears it. But he's not the one wearing it full of heavy vegetables as we go barrelling around corners downtown either.

ReplyDeleteNot to be a killjoy...but I can't remember where your scooter is from...I saw a link yesterday on google news that Target was recalling some of their scooters because of a wiring issue that was responsible for two house fires. Just an FYI

Oh, we didn't get the scooter from Target. We got it from a local scooter dealer. But thanks for the warning!

ReplyDeleteI just got back from Asia and I saw a lot of the tribes in more rural areas using those kinds of baskets. They were, of course, a tiny bit different though. I've got some pictures of them here, here and here if you're interested.
