Let's get down to brass tacks here... who did we see this weekend? At the actual screenings we have seen Jeremy Irons, Joseph Fiennes, Chazz Palminteri, Susan Sarandon and various other actors/actresses that I didn't know the names of.
People we have seen casually out and about, which really is the ideal situation.... walking in Yorkville: Jamie Fox, Bob Hoskins, Nick Nolte (wandering in a crazed manner), at the Four Seasons: Cuba Gooding Jr. and Michael Imperioli.
But the highlight of the weekend, the real moment of jubilation, came as we were sitting at the patio of Sassafraz, fininshing our coffee and dessert. I see Tina's eyes widen... I turn my head and there is Colin Firth waiting for a table. A full week before we expected him to be there for his movie screening. (turns out he is filming a movie in Toronto) Tina completely forgets about his birthday and spends the rest of the evening kicking herself for not mouthing the words "Happy Birthday!".
Colin Firth = RAWR. Something about him is just so very attractive....

ReplyDeleteYes, Colin looks as good in person. He looked very humble and sweet. I think he noticed Chuck's Manchester United shirt (though my unrealistic version is that he was gazing at me thinking how nice it would be to share a birthday drink) =)
