I love these shirts- so cute! And such a refreshing antidote to frilly frilly frothy lacey wedding things- we have these catalogues that come free in Wedding Magazines in the UK, and you can buy nothing for your wedding unless they be covered and bedecked with ribbons, bows, froth and so on! Much rather your cool shirts :-) Hope you have a great wedding party! Naomi x
Ummm... I am serving candy and bbq at my party. As for my wedding, guests were served fried chicken and Aaron's grandma made the cake as a gift. My mom made my dress, I printed my invites at Kinkos and we used the church basement for the reception. I think we broke records in wedding frugality. But if it all appeared to be expensive... well, I will take that as a complement!
You are so amazing... I mean when is your TV show coming out on the Style Network... I think I am becoming your Number 1 Fan... Love the site, love the animals, love the ideas... Great work, keep it up and Congrats on the Wedding! B. Taylor
LJC....you were extravagant in CREATIVITY, PERSONAL TOUCHES, THOUGHTFULNESS, and CHARM. And that, amiga, is what counts the most. Congrats on celebration #2! I'm sure your guests will remember it for all of your extravagance!
guess the person who said you must be rich is not a regular reader or they would realize all the elbow grease you, your friends and family put into your wedding to make it beautiful yet keep the costs down. Looks like it will be a lovely party. Congratulations!
I have been perusing the blog world for about 6 months now and I have to tell you that yours is at the top of my "favorites list". I am absolutely inspired by all your crafty and creative ideas. I totally agree with the person who suggested you should have your own tv program. A loyal fan from Canada, Robin
P.s. We share May 11th as our birthday.... perhaps that is why I am so in tune with your style.
hey ljc - I have a question about printing at kinkos. When you make your illustrations and print them, do you make them using rgb or cmyk? I'm curious to know how to get the best results when printing them. Do you put them at 600 dpi?
Inquiring minds would like to know. erika http://www.five3.com info(at)five3(dot)com
Erika, When printing, you want to use CMYK. I found 300 dpi to be sufficient for their printers. Another tip... I saved all my files as Illustrator AND as PDF's and I saved them on zip disks AND burned them to CD. Make sure you have all your fonts on the disk too. Cover all your bases!
wow, you must be rich - you are able to buy so many things and have more than one party.
