Apparently I missed the whole big stink over Abercrombie & Fitch and their pug t-shirt. They had a "humor" shirt that featured a crossed out pug and said "Say No to Pugs". Pug lovers everywhere rebelled. They even started a petition.
They don't have it on their site anymore, but there is one with a pug and a saxaphone. I don't get it.
Oh, Jenny, please...
ReplyDeleteSAX + PUGS = SEX & DRUGS
Don't feel bad, Jenny, I didn't get it either. Thank you, Joel! :-)
ReplyDeleteNothing gets by you Joel!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh. Well I feel old.
ReplyDeleteAbercrombie got on my nerves a few years ago when the started selling thongs for ten year olds! WTF! now there pug hating! whats next?????????
ReplyDeletecontroversy sells t-shirts. It seems to be a marketing strategy of theirs. They got in trouble a while back for a racist shirt. A shirt depicting two Asian Laundrymen with slanty eyes and buck teeth and the slogan "two wongs make it white". There was a big uproar and not surprisingly the shirt sold out.
ReplyDeleteI think the bug and the saxophone thing may be a drug reference? Looks like a big pipe to me.
ReplyDeleteWow...i have to say that this post is so ridiculous i just had give my two euros. The shirt is a metaphor, you dumbass. Stop caring so much about this and start investing your time fighting against things that actually matter...and while you're at it, change your baby's diaper. toodles
