I saw on the news that this was Maple Weekend in New York. Lots of maple farms were having open houses and special events. Lured by the visions of pancakes dripping in syrup, Aaron and I ventured out to Spragues Maple Farms. We visited their working sugar shack, ate maple syrup on snow and all you can eat buckwheat pancakes. We also bought bags of maple sugar cotton candy! Delish! Hit by inspiration we bought a bag of maple sugar to try in my cotton candy machine. Pictures of our outing.....
