Yesterday we went
to see Bubba Ho Tep
at the Little Theatre.
It's about Elvis and JFK in a rest home, trying to kill an Egyptian mummy. "Two
valiant old codgers sally forth to battle an evil Egyptian entity who has chosen
their long-term care facility as his happy hunting grounds…" You had to
suspend your disbelief for this film.
Bruce Campbell of Evil Dead and Armys of Darkness fame played Elvis. That was probably why I wanted to see it.
All in all, an amusing flick. A good ending to a relaxing fun weekend.
