Rejected
I am back from jury duty. After sitting in a room with hundreds of people all morning and then watching twenty eight other people be interviewed for a case, it was my turn. I wasn't asked any special questions, I don't think I stuck out as particularly swayed by either side, but I wasn't selected none the less.
The case was not a pleasant one so I was quite relieved to not have to sit through it. I still have to wonder why I wasn't picked though. I did my civil duty and all I have to show for it is a sticker I had to wear that says "JUROR".
Joel has just informed me that if I had been picked he was prepared to leak a story to the media to get me off the case so he wouldn't have to deal with my projects I left behind. Hah!
