Gap films
Joel was looking at the new Gap commercials on the website, reading off the directors and actors in each one. It's pretty cool how they got well known directors and actors for these spots.
The Coen brothers directed "Two White Shirts" with Dennis Hopper and Christina Ricci. Roman Copola directed "Down on Khaki Street" with an actress from Ghost World, an actor from That Seventies Show... and then he goes on to describe "Denim Invasion".
It's directed by Cameron Crowe, with Kate Beckinsale and Orlando Bloom. "Orlando Bloom sounds familiar" I think to myself... I later realize he is the elf, Legolas, in Lord of the Rings. I never would have recognized him. What a difference when he's not an elf.
