Stitch in time
I happened upon the web page for the new Disney film, Lilo and Stitch. Stitch is an unruly alien fleeing from the authorities that lands on earth and befriends a young Hawaiian girl named Lilo. From what I gather on the website, Stitch is a real pill.
The best part of the website is the set of trailers that use scenes from Disney's recent films "Beauty and the Beast", "Aladin" and "The Little Mermaid" in which Stitch drops in and ruins the moment.
Interesting how after Disney lost out to Shrek at this years Oscars, they use the same sort of Shrekish poking fun at fairy tales shtick in these trailers. I also think those were the last really good movies they put out too (not counting the stuff they have "acquired" from Pixar). I thought Pocohontas was a yawn and Hunchback of Notre Dame downright frightening. I hope this Stitch flick is better.
