Astronaut Breakfast

I came very close to being insanely jealous of Cindy. She was in Florida for a conference and was scheduled to have breakfast with the shuttle astronauts and then see the shuttle take off.

I love space and anything to do with it, NASA, SETI etc. I would love love love to see the shuttle take off. It's a tricky thing, because it doesn't always go off as scheduled. Sometimes it takes three or four tries. It did take off on the first try this time. But Cindy didn't go. She got the flu and had to opt out.

I fully intend to go down there and tour the facilities and I am not leaving until I see a shuttle launch. I am dying to know about this "breakfast with the astronauts" deal too. Hmmmm I wonder if they have Tang.
