My fam had a crisis this weekend. Their deep freezer broke.
Doesn't sound like a big deal... except when you have an entire cow (over $500 worth of beef) in a 26 cubic foot freezer that stopped running at an unknown time you potentially have a big mess or a big bbq for the entire neighborhood on your hands.
Luckily they they got a replacement up and running in time. That was the highlight of my visit home this weekend.
